Socrates' tree presents you with a number of dilemmas such as the one on this page.
Each dilemma illustrates two points of view on the same subject.
You indicate the point of view that best matches your own by moving the slider in the middle.
The further towards a point of view you move the slider, the stronger you feel about that point of view.
There are no right or wrong answers.
If you are 'in the middle' on both points of view, simply place or leave the slider in the middle.
If you are undecided, tick the box in the centre under the slider.
Further information is provided in the 'More Information' box on the bottom left.
You can also leave your comments in the space provided.
Move between the screens, using the 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons. You can go backwards and forwards through the dilemmas and change your mind if you want.
Schools clearly have a part to play in Every Child Matters, but does this mean supporting other agencies or taking a central, pro-active, coordinating role?
